Instructions to keep right (or left) on the initial hill would have been helpful to those wanting to pass rather than thread their way through the throng
Clearer pointers at certain junctions - maybe with neon tape?

Thoroughly enjoyed the run. Great for putting a bit of strength into the legs! Well marshalled and organised...though race director was a bit unclear in his address. Good support and welcome at finish. Suggestions.....prize for 75 age group.

The race was friendly, well organised, well marshalled. After climbing the initial hill you are met with the most beautiful view, fields and woodland. Highly recommend.

A really lovely, friendly local race, with encouraging marshals and a beautiful route. It's a tough one, but a great challenge, whether you're a seasoned runner or a relative newbie.

Not the easiest route but once your on top the run through the valley is worth the first 3.5km! Always well marshalled, cakes & tea afterwards are a real bonus along with a decent medal.

A fantastic trail running event! The Maiden Newton 10K was exceptionally well organised from start to finish, with a friendly atmosphere and great support throughout. The countryside views were absolutely stunning and made every mile a pleasure. A brilliant event that I’d happily recommend and can’t wait to run again!

Need a 'left' arrow in the field where we turn right off the road around 8.5k. A woman ran straight down the field instead of left. And please abandon 'cupless': dehydrating runners need quick water: this is no place for virtue-signalling to save the planet: avoiding collapse is important. Lastly, could Clubs be mentioned at prize giving - it means a lot to club runners. Great race: I come every year cos I love it. Thanks!

The support at the start and finish and the marshals along the route are great. The route is a bit of everything, it’s Dorset what would you expect?!!

A challenging hill near the start of a predominantly trail route in beautiful countryside. Well organized, friendly Marshalls and plenty of cake to enjoy after you've got your well earned medal.

Beautiful rote around Maiden Newton, good split between trail and road. Good location and parking. Nice facilities. Marshals were great and course well signposted.

What a great 10k this is! Lovely atmosphere, well marked and marshalled course. All the marshals very enthusiastic and supportive. Tremendous cakes at the end. Will definitely be back next year!
